How I styled the prettiest gingham ruffle dress for a picnic date with Lincoln!
My mom always told me that the best way to soothe a cranky baby is a bit of fresh air. Fortunately, Lincoln is a pretty mellow guy, but he certainly has his moments of fussiness. When the weather is nice, I love to take a blanket outside and spend a little time in the fresh air with him. He gets to see all of the trees and birds, and hears new sounds. So not only are we getting a nice change of scenery, but he is learning new sights and sounds! Also, he gets to wear cute baby hats, and that is always a win. Being able to spend quality time with him is my favorite thing to do, and I can’t wait to continue this tradition as he grows.
This gingham ruffle dress is one of my absolute favorites! The pretty ruffle details of the straps adds the perfect touch of femininity. Also, you always look chic in black and white gingham. A few details about the dress: I am wearing a size small, and it fits perfectly. There is a side zip , and I didn’t have to wear a bra underneath because it stayed up really well. The dress has such a unique, flattering shape and pretty neckline. I felt comfortable in it without having to constantly pull at it.
Also, whenever I’m outside, I like to protect my skin by wearing a hat (#paleproblems), and this boater hat is my new favorite. I actually also got it with a pink band because I loved it so much! It’s only $16, so you really can’t beat that price.
