If you’re like me, you wake up pretty early to head in to work. I’ve mentioned this before, but I work four 10-hour days Monday through Thursday so I can have a long weekend every week! But that means I work 7am-5:30pm, so my days are long. I start my day at 5:30am, and waking up is generally a struggle for me because sleeping is one of my favorite things to do. To make each morning a little easier, I follow 3 steps to make my morning relaxing so I can have a great day ahead of me.
1. Make your Bed. Even though I don’t always want to, making my bed gives me a fresh start to the day! And when I come home after work, walking into a clean and orderly room lets me decompress without having to worry about the chores I have to do!
2. Set your Clothes out the Night Before. This is key for my morning brain. I always check the weather the night before and set out my clothes for work so I have one less step to my morning routine. This way, I will always look and feel my best and will save a few extra minutes!
