So, this is officially my last maternity outfit!! I can’t believe Lincoln is already five weeks old. Looking back at all of my maternity outfits is so fun. It’s so strange to see how you grow, but at the time, I didn’t realize how much my bump was growing! Also, I have to say I am proud of myself for planning out these posts in advance! Being able to relax and spend time with Lincoln has made the transition to being a blogging mom so much easier. But, come Wednesday, you will see my first non-maternity post in about 10 months! Super exciting, and also super nerve-wracking. My body has definitely changed, but I am learning to dress it as time goes on. PS: Today I’ve teamed up with The Southern Style Guide, Style Your Senses & The Chic Series to discuss my favorite trend for spring as a part of Mom Style Monday.
But back to THIS outfit. The top I’m wearing is actually a black off the shoulder dress! I don’t know about you, but dresses that are 34 inches or shorter don’t fit me. They are just too short, and I can’t walk around with my bum hanging out. However, if you’re blessed with a normal length torso (mine is abnormally long!) and can wear shorter dresses, then this black off the shoulder dress is for you. If not, you can still wear this black off the shoulder dress as a top like I did!
This dress/top comes in SO many colors, so you can find the perfect one for you. I’m actually thinking about getting it in yellow because it is seriously so bright and fun. Also, sizing tip: this top is rather baggy, so unless you have a baby bump, I would recommend going a size down. Unless you want a larger fit, then get your normal size. Either way, this dress/top is a must-have for your summer wardrobe!
