Is that a pool noodle (and some washcloths)? YES. Yes, it is. Why? Well, this is one my secret organizing tools.
I have a boot obsession (second only to my handbag obsession), and when I store them in my closet, they often get pushed around. With fall right around the corner, I wanted to get my boots into shape!
So, I must ask you: Are your boots sad? Do you have boots that just sit in your closet and just flop over? Then this noodle trick is for you!
Step 1: Purchase noodle. These can be found at any store, especially during the summer. I got mine at Target, but you can find it here on Amazon. I prefer the thicker noodles (yes, they come in different sizes!).
Step 2: Cut noodle into different lengths depending on the height of your boot. You can use a box cutter or knife (carefully) for this.
Step 3: Put noodles inside of boot shaft so the boot stands up straight. I also stuff the washcloths into the toes of the boots to keep those from caving in.
Step 4: Admire your happy boots! They no longer wrinkle. They no longer fall over in your closet. They are now ready for fall and winter wear!
